New Brighton Christmas Window Competition 2025
Bring the Christmas spirit to New Brighton and help light up the mall and surrounding streets!
TIDE New Brighton Business Association invites all local businesses and organisations to take part in our Christmas Window Competition — designed to make New Brighton sparkle and encourage more people to visit and shop locally this festive season.
How it Works
Enter by: Friday 21 November 2025
Complete the short entry form below or email contact@tide.org.nz
Decorate your window by: Friday 28 November 2025
Public voting starts: Saturday 29 November 2025
Each participating business will receive a QR code linking to the online voting page for the People’s Choice Award.
A map with all the participating windows will be shared on social media.
Voting closes: Sunday 22 December 2025
Winner announced: Monday 23 December 2025
Prizes
People’s Choice Award: Prize for the window that receives the most votes.
Bragging rights: A trophy, certificate, and social media feature celebrating your business!
Rules & Guidelines
Eligibility: Open to all businesses in New Brighton.
Theme: “Christmas in New Brighton” — creative interpretations encouraged!
Display area: Clearly visible from the street/mall.
Timing: Decorations must be complete by 28 November and remain on display until 24 December.
Voting: The public will vote via QR code. One vote per person.
Judging: The winner will be decided purely by public vote.
Safety: Decorations must not obstruct walkways or cause hazards.
