Connection to New Brighton	I moved from Dunedin thirteen years ago and call Christchurch home. I am a regular visitor to the beach with my wife and two young sons. After living in Riccarton for three years, we chose to make a move to New Brighton. My passion for the suburb combined with my family wanting to live close to the beach led me to invest in New Brighton. At first I purchased Salt on the Pier and operated it for nearly five years. We subsequently sold the cafe and invested more in the area by purchasing the Super Liquor Stores.  I am a hardworking and passionate person with many years of experience in operating business. I love interacting with local community members, businesses and organisations and I’ve made a significant number of donations to community events. I feel proud to be part of, and being a valuable, contributing member of the New Brighton community.  In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach with my family and our dog, Jax.

Ambitions for your business	Keep growing the existing business and improving partnerships with other businesses in and around New Brighton.
Ambitions for New Brighton	I would like to see New Brighton business district thriving and successful with a strong connection to the community and Christchurch as a whole.
